Quinin

If you have uncomplicated (or mild) malaria, you may benefit from the prescription medication quinine sulfate (Qualaquin®). Available in capsule form, this medicine is typically taken every eight hours for seven days. It works by killing the parasite that causes the malaria blood infection. Possible side effects include dizziness, nausea, and headaches.
