Can I Buy Malarone After I Travel (When I Get There)?
If you are traveling to a country where malaria is present, you should buy Malarone before you travel. You will need to start taking the medicine one to two days before arriving in the malaria area. In addition, malaria medications sold in some countries may be counterfeit or fake, or not held to the same rigorous standards as medications sold in the United States.
